Hailee Steinfeld’s Haiz
Hailee has been in multiple movies including True Grit, Ender’s Game, and Pitch Perfect. I find it interesting she played a role in a music oriented movie then started making her own music. Her music is very pop sounding. This album seems like an assortment of songs made after a breakup. The song “Rock Bottom” to me, symbolizes her and her significant hitting rock bottom. Yet still being addicted to the feeling of being with each other so they keep coming back for more. Then the song title “You’re Such A” is very humorous. The lyrics go on explaining how she finds this other person to be annoying and sometimes rude. Really she is just tired of this person trying to hurt her time after time. She goes on to say that she is much better off without them because she knows the truth of what they have done to her.
